"Exquisite graphic style combined with a unique sense of humor and deep engagement with everyday Russian village life characterize Lyubarov's work. His paintings are marked by a vivid narrative quality and careful observation of characters and situations. The combination of folklore elements with modern graphical techniques makes his art accessible and endearing to a broad audience."
