Mariam Akobyan
Born in 1949 in Yerevan, Armenia. 1968 - Graduated from the sculpture faculty of Terlemezian Art College, Yerevan. 1974 - Graduated from the sculpture faculty of the Art and Theatre Institute, Yerevan. Since 1979 - Member of the Union of Artists of Armenia. 1976-90 - Teaching activities at the Republican Center for Children's Aesthetic Education. 1993-97 - Sculpture instructor at the 'Roslin' Art Institute.
