Born on August 7, 1925, in Moscow. In 1949, he graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov.

Works in collections

His works are held in the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, the Olympic Sculpture Park in Seoul, and in private collections in Russia, France, Germany, and the USA.
