Olga Nikolaevna Grechina

Born on February 4, 1947, in Kovrov.
In 1972, she graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute.
In 1974, she became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
After graduating, Olga Grechina has worked with various printmaking techniques such as etching, engraving, and lithography (silkscreen).
Since the late 1970s and up to the present, Grechina has been engaged in easel painting. The themes of her works include landscapes, still lifes, portraits, architecture, and complex multi-figure compositions. One of her notable artistic directions is photorealism (hyperrealism).
Olga Grechina is a participant in Russian, all-Union, and international exhibitions. Her solo exhibitions have been held in major Moscow galleries such as "Mars", "Panart", "Intercolor", "Manege" and others.
Her works are part of the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg), the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics, the German National Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art (Belgium), as well as museums in Japan and the USA.
Her paintings are also in private collections in Russia, the USA, England, France, Turkey, Poland, and other countries.

In 2007, she was awarded by the Ministry of Culture and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation with the badge of distinction "For Achievements in Culture" (order No. 518).
In 2008, awarded the Silver Order II degree "Service to Art" by the International Academy of Culture and Art (order No. 108).

Her works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, Memorial Museums of Cosmonautics in Moscow and Kaliningrad, the Art Museum of Nuremberg, private collections in Poland, Germany, USA, Turkey, France, Japan.
