Author about himself
The hand must not know how. The mind must not know.
For the first time. Not knowing, not being able, on the edge of the forbidden and
acceptable. There can be no freedom from rules,
as one cannot use only laws. If I know "how", I do it differently. If I have rules, I don't follow them. I have one main rule – the absence of any rules. My movement forward is a return backward.
Through mastery to innocence, through rules to unskillfulness.
