Pobedova Olga Alexandrovna
Born in 1950 in Ukhta, Komi Republic. Graduated in 1973 from the Moscow Higher School of Industrial Art named after S.G. Stroganov. Currently works in the field of optical plastic arts.

Her works are held in the All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art, collections of the Russian Artistic Fund, Ministry of Culture of Russia, Moscow-based galleries 'Moscow Palette' and 'Art Modern', the Vladimir-Suzdal Historical and Art Museum, and in private collections in Russia, Belgium, Finland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Syria, the USA, and Australia.

Olga Pobedova is the creator of exquisite 'jewelry-like' chamber sculptures made from optical glass. These small-scale objects and their compositions, resembling gemstones from fairy-tale treasures, consistently attract viewers not only for their impeccable craftsmanship and the beauty of the material—with its amazing transparency, reflections, and unique play of light—but go beyond cold perfection and ideally polished glass blocks. They are fantasies captured in glass, materialized products of the artist's creative imagination—a brilliant play with the material, where the geometric precision of the facets is subordinated to the artist’s emotional intent, her natural feminine softness and lyricism. Masterfully combining straight and curved surfaces and 'echoing' them with each other, the artist sets static crystal into lively motion, turning simple cold glass into melodic crystalline music...
