I have been drawing since early childhood. I have been participating in exhibitions since 1962. I work with pleasure.

For the first time we are presented with 'functional ceramics.' This is a motif that captivates and convinces us not only with decorative qualities that refer to tradition with rich, suggestive sources, but with the absolute possibilities for future architectural use. We are ardent supporters of 'functional ceramics'; its enormous potential stems from the bare, pale modern architectural wall, which can be ennobled only by the elegance of ceramics. While contemporary artists search for new forms and motifs, Tsygankov approaches the most common compositions to show the high effectiveness of decorative ceramics through the simplest actions with enchanting floral motives. He gives us one of the valuable decorative aspects of ceramics. If the international jury wished to consider this significant 'innovation' and moved away somewhat from the themes of the most abstract modern art, it would be struck by the wonderful roses that brought a feeling of eternal spring to both the outer and inner environments. We would like to see other aspects of Tsygankov’s creativity and be even more convinced by the fascinating path he has chosen in the great diversity that he will present to us; we are completely convinced that the direction he pursues with a refined sense of subtle choice of subject will further convince us of the fullness of his thought, which we believe is of special educational and architectural significance.—V.
