Irina Zatulovskaya is a rare colorist, and all her inventions—painting on roofing iron, on tole, rotating portraits on boards—are not avant-garde reflections on the material of art, but discoveries of a colorist exploring color, density, weight, and texture in different materials. Unlike many, Zatulovskaya wishes to speak not about art, but about life, about the experience of it now, about how it left an imprint on her soul in childhood...
