Author about himself
... The idea of "interference" was the start of a new game for me. Something is always distracting, making you look back. In the subway, on the street, the flicker of cars and people prevents the gaze from stopping. I only see a fragment, a piece of a wall or house. And there's always interference somewhere at the corner of the eye. Color pulses in this spot and tries to break free, to fill all space.
It is hard for me to distinguish where a new image begins – inside me or in the wind banging the window.
... My planet is the planet of childhood. The smells and dreams of childhood live in colors and on the canvas. These are not objects, not concrete forms, but sensations, tactile perceptions through contact with color.
I move by touch. A blind person does the same. What is reality for them? A rough surface, unexpected pits, disturbances on the right and left. And color is not fused with the object, but dissolved in space.
... The whole must be assembled from fragments. The trolls broke the mirror, and we are trying to piece it back together.
