Eduard Khoroshiy
Born in 1931 in Moscow, lived in Leningrad from 1948 to 1961.
1953 - Graduated with honors from the Serov Leningrad Art School (“Tavricheskoye”).
1953 – 1959 – Student at the I.E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Academy of Arts of the USSR.
1961 – Candidate member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
1962 – Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Since 1962 lived and worked in Moscow.
Since 1992 has lived in Israel, retaining Russian citizenship.
Member of the Union of Artists and Sculptors of Israel.

Works are held in the Art Museum in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the Art Museum in Oryol, the Ministry of Culture of the USSR, the Ministry of Culture of the RSFSR, the Art Fund of the Moscow branch of the Union of Artists, and in private collections in Russia, Israel, USA, Germany.

Critic
...Will this “old-fashioned conservative” fit into the colorful and multifaceted spectrum of contemporary art? It is about the gift of a perceptive observer and chronicler, his unbiased view of the world around him. Such a perspective can only enrich our understanding of life through the means of art. And let's not be wasteful: who knows, perhaps the themes embodied in the works of the artist and his like-minded colleagues are yet to gain recognition. In any case, they are clearly underpinned by talent, training, and artistic integrity...
