Sculpture (unique piece) mounted on a gray lacquered wooden panel. Rectangular, wavy-edged porcelain plate with irregularly curved, partially wrinkled surface, partially broken and worked relief-like veins, depicting a tree and branching branches, as well as hand-formed, relief-like veined leaves. Violet-brown overglaze painting. Either Peter Strang, artist's signature and date "P. Strang (19) 89". Unique number 53/89. Hairline cracks. Sword mark. Relief measurement 56 cm x 38 cm. Plate measurement 80 cm x 60 cm. Peter Strang (born 1936) belongs to the group "Artistic Development" of sculptors who have been increasingly engaged in porcelain reliefs since the 1970s. Initially, a cast of a clay modelled surface is made and the porcelain positive is cast.
