On a rocky pedestal stands a ceramic art deco figure of a tiger. The material used is stoneware, and the artist has depicted the tiger with a naturalistic fur pattern using polychrome underglaze painting. Due to the production process, there is a crack on the figure. The piece bears the manufacturer's mark of Thüringen, specifically Volkstedt, and was created by Herzinger & Co. around 1930. The figure measures 55 cm in height. The provenance of this artwork is from the estate of a significant private collection in Northern Germany.
