On a high oak tree stump sits a Eurasian jay, with its head turned to the right and its beak open. Below, a fleeing squirrel with an acorn in its mouth. The detailed representation is executed with a naturalistic feather pattern or finely stippled fur markings. Polychrome painting. Possibly by Johann Joachim Kaendler. Model number 1128.
