Polychrome painting with gold accents. Either Michel Victor Acier, around 1775. Partially with minimal damage or restoration. Sword mark. Height 9 cm - 10.5 cm. The Amorettos figures created in 1775 by Michel Victor Acier (1736-1799) were modeled after designs by the court painter Prof. Johann Eleazar Zeissig, also known as Schönau (Schenau) (1737-1806). Schönau studied at the Dresden Academy, was appointed to the porcelain manufactory in 1770, became court painter in 1773, and was appointed professor in 1774.
