On an oval, flower-covered natural socle in front of a tree stands a fountain with a sleeping young shepherdess, three sheep, and a ram. Standing to the side is a bending shepherd with a pilgrim's staff and bagpipe, accompanied by a dog. Possibly by Johann Joachim Kaendler. Model number 1290. Insignificant restoration; crossed swords mark. Height 25 cm. Provenance: From the estate of a significant North German private collection. A porcelain shepherd group at the well.
