On a naturalistically designed pedestal stand four standing putti representing the seasons. One putto is depicted as spring, holding a flower basket. Another putto represents summer, holding a bundle of ears of grain. The third putto is adorned with a wreath of grape leaves and grapes, symbolizing autumn. The fourth putto is dressed in a fur-lined cloak and ice skates, representing winter. The figures are made of polychrome porcelain, some of which are outlined with gold. They are attributed to Johann Joachim Kaendler and have model numbers A 64, A 67, 2716, and A 71. Some of the figures have minor, insignificant restorations or chips. They bear the crossed swords mark of Meissen. Height ranges from 13 cm to 13.5 cm. These porcelain figures date back to the mid-20th century.
