Motif "Andromeda" after François Boucher. Displayed on a pedestal with a curved, sculpted body, transitioning into a recessed wall with trumpet-shaped swinging edge. On both sides of the wall, in a cobalt blue background, four-pass reserves surrounded by vine work. Within them, the scenic representation of a rocky coast with Andromeda (French: Andromède) chained to a rock, confronting the sea monster Cetus. Above, indicated the future husband Perseus, rushing to the rescue, with winged helmet and shield. After the French artist François Boucher (1703-1770). On the reverse, a summery, colorful flower bouquet. Fine, polychrome painting. Extensive gold ornamentation in foliage and ribbon work, as well as a gold lace border. On the base, in black, "Andromeda n. Boucher". Sword mark. Height: 40.5 cm. A splendid cobalt blue and gold-decorated porcelain vase, finely painted with the mythological depiction of Andromeda after F. Boucher and a bouquet of flowers. Crossed swords mark. Meissen.
