"A m u s e m e n t d e l ’ e n f a n c e" (Amusement of Childhood). Original title: Achteckiger Sockel mit Pfeifenstabborde. Sitting on a richly decorated cradle is a child with a rattle and a doll. Standing next to it is a girl in a flower-patterned dress and hat, with her arm around the child. The head side of the cradle has a relief-decorated, bow-adorned oval medallion with the motif "Bird on a Branch". On the reverse side, lying on the ground, is a Kasperle puppet and a drum. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Possibly by Michel Victor Acier, around 1774/1775. Model number E 76. Some minor restorations; crossed swords mark. Height: 19.5 cm.
