On a quadratic, profiled pedestal stands the figure of Leda as a half-act, with her right foot resting on a rock. She is covered with a richly folded, pink-colored cloth. Her long, curly, light brown hair is artfully styled in an antique manner and adorned with a golden diadem. Behind her stands a swan, facing her, with an upraised neck, which she firmly grasps. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Possibly by Johann Carl Schönheit, 1784. Model number H 44. Insignificant restoration; crossed swords mark. Height 25 cm. See P. von Spee, Klassizistische Porzellanplastik der Meissener Manufaktur (Diss.), Bonn, 2004, catalog number 134, pages 327f. A rare classical porcelain figure of Leda with swan. Insignificantly restored. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. End of the 19th century.
