On a quadratic, profiled base in a dynamic pose stands Apollo, covered with a delicate yellow, loosely draped cloth, in the process of embracing the fleeing Daphne, who is already partially transformed into a laurel tree. Daphne, with long, flowing, curly hair, has her arms stretched upwards. Polychrome painting with gold staffage.
