(1925 St. Martin im Innkreis - 2012 Kremes an der Donau) Female Nude Bronze, brown patinated. Artist's stamp "HF Freilinger Kremes". Standing on a rectangular plinth, a young woman with raised head and closed eyes, her feet wide apart and her hands placed on her thighs. The statuette stands with its stylized, softly modeled forms in the tradition of classical modernism. Freilinger studied sculpture after 1945 with Josef Furtner, visited the 1953 "School of Seeing" at the Salzburg Summer Academy, led by Oskar Kokoschka and Giacomo Manzù. Manzù encouraged him to study at the Vienna Academy with Hans Andre, where he received the Master's Prize in 1959 and graduated in 1960. In 1964, Freilinger settled in Kremes, and from 1973 to 1979 he also maintained a studio in Bologna. From 1966 to 1970, he received awards in Brussels, Paris, and Italy; in 1974, he was awarded the title of professor. H. 69.5 cm. Brown patinated bronze. Artist's signature stamp with location Kremes (an der Donau, Austria).
