Dancer Bronze, gold-colored and red cold patina; carved ivory. Light green onyx base. Signed "Renz". Fully sculpted representation of a young, slender dancer with a so-called "bubikopf" in a short dress, completely immersed in the dance, standing on tiptoes with crossed legs and gracefully raised arms. Motif and stylistic typical Art Deco statue by Lorenzl, who belongs to the most significant Viennese sculptors of the interwar period. Characteristic for him are stylized, proportionally expressive elongated figures of elegant dancers. Minor chips to the base edge. Overall height 21.2 cm. CITES certificate is available.
