(1840 Paris - 1917 Meudon) after "Adam" or "La Création de l'Homme" ("The Creation of Man"). Original title Bronze, patinated in gray-green tones. With limestone base. Posthumous cast, late 20th or early 21st century; created by Rodin in 1880/81 in connection with the "Gates of Hell", the colossal figure pair of Adam and Eve, whose models he exhibited in 1881 at the Salon. From 1910 onwards, there were first bronze casts (including at the Art Institute of Chicago and Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York). Total height 45 cm. After Auguste Rodin (1840-1917). Posthumous cast, late 20th or early 21st century; green patinated bronze, limestone base. Inscribed.
