(1867 Nolde - 1956 Seebüll) Three mountain postcards chromolithographs / postcard cardboard, 1896-1898. Printed, signed "E Hansen". Used, written, with postmarks from 1898 and 1899. Including "Der Ortler träumt von verschwundenen Zeiten", "Die schöne Bernina und der alte Morteratsch" and "Die drei Mürtschen im Glarner Land (...)" Nolde created since 1894 in his St. Gallen time under his birth name Hansen watercolors of the Swiss mountains, which he transformed into fairytale-like figures with human faces. In 1897, he printed his own commercially successful edition of the mountain postcards with 30 motifs. Each about 9 cm x 14 cm. Enclosed: another postcard from Reichenhall in Upper Bavaria in the style of Nolde's Swiss mountain postcards (used 1898).
