On a wave-relieved naturalistic base stands a man, capturing a mermaid with a net. The painting is polychrome. Possibly by Ernst Herter, 1897. Inscribed "E. Herter" on the base. Model number Q 195. Some minor restorations; crossed swords mark. Height 28 cm. The Meissen porcelain manufactory acquired only this model from the sculptor Ernst Herter.
