On an oval plinth, a lurking pair of leopards can be found. The depiction is done in polychrome, with a naturalistic underglaze painting technique. It is possibly the work of Otto Pilz, around 1925. The model number is U 1348. The piece bears impressed manufacturer and blue marks. It measures 22 cm in height, with dimensions of 50 cm x 26 cm. Provenance: From the estate of a significant private collection in Northern Germany. This Thuringian porcelain figure group portrays leopards. It bears the impressed and underglaze-blue manufacturer's mark of the Thüringen Unterweißbach Schwarzburger Werkstätten, dating from 1926 to 1936.
