On a stylized rock base stands a majestic eagle in a crouched position, with its head turned to the right. In its claws, it holds a hunted hare. The piece is adorned with polychrome underglaze painting. It is possibly the work of Franz Anton Puchegger, around 1913. Model number U 1035. Manufacture mark. Height: 26.5 cm. Provenance: From the estate of a significant private collection in Northern Germany. A Thuringian Art Nouveau porcelain figure of an eagle with a hunted hare. Manufacturer's mark: Thüringen, Unterweißbach, Schwarzburger Werkstätten, around 1926-1936.
