On a hexagonal, stylized rock pedestal sits a falcon, its head turned to the right. Polychrome underglaze painting. Possibly by Ottmar Obermaier, 1923. Inscription on the back dedicated to the "Officials of the Reichsbank District Plauen" in gold. Negligible restoration. Manufacturer's mark. Height: 45.5 cm. Provenance: From the estate of a significant private collection in Northern Germany. A porcelain figure of a hawk. Insignificantly restored. Manufacturer's mark: Selb Rosenthal, 1929.
