Sterling silver. Exhibited, profiled round foot, surrounded by a laurel leaf frieze, transitioning into a short baluster shaft with a high, outwardly swinging, thick-walled cup. The relief-adorned wall is adorned with relief-like, plastic-carved olive branches with lanceolate leaves and abundantly adorned with olives. Laterally, just below the lip edge, two curved, narrow handles with ear-shaped grips. Foot underside with name engravings and date, as well as the hallmark "925" and maker's mark. Weight approximately 1430 g. Height 16.3 cm. A heavy and decorative Italian sterling silver goblet. Name engraved and dated. Gilt inside. Standard mark 925, assay mark, maker's mark, and number. Signed "AF78" (?). Italian. Milan. Giacomo Vavassori. 2nd half of the 20th century.
