Faience. So-called bird pitcher. Slanting gadrooned body, scroll handle, horizontally ribbed neck, short spout. Kleister blue glaze, stylized floral decor in cobalt blue. German glaze intact; pewter mounting, the lid with a ball pusher, intact. Height 24 cm. A South German, probably Nuremberg, pewter-mounted light blue glazed faience pitcher. Minor chips to the glaze.
