Stoneware, ochre-colored salt glaze. A roller jug form divided by profiled ribbons and tin rings. Applied white-gray pearl decoration with a heart and floral motifs, combined with dark blue painting. Pewter mounting, the lid with a ball pusher, engraved monogram and date. 1702 or 1762, according to the gem. H. 26.5 cm. A large Thuringian pewter-mounted salt-glazed stoneware tankard. Monogrammed and dated. Altenburg. 18th century.
