Pewter and wood. A conically tapering body with a set, narrow lip rim. The transition between the profiled, wide border zones is interrupted by a decorative leaf branch, two leaping deer, and a crowned cartouche in the center. Domed, profiled lid with an 8-pointed star motif and ribbed decoration. Large, curved handle on the side with a spherical thumb rest. Height: 16.5 cm. See Haedekes, Collecting Pewter, p. 54, fig. 43.
