With distribution from the Paradise Hellgray Stoneware. On a knifed, ribbed wave foot, tall, ovoid body with small ring handle, conical funnel neck. Three applied round medallions with double, identical, scenic depiction of the distribution and a profile portrait. German restoration; height 13 cm. Compare with the catalog "Stoneware, Cologne 1976, No. 195-196; a comparative piece with distributions from the Paris in the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam (Inv. No. BK-NM-1723). Provenance: North German private collection. A German Rhenish Siegburg stoneware "Trichterhalskrug" or funnel-necked jug. Minor restorations. Siegburg, around 1570-1600.
