Sterling silver. On a flat, rounded base, almost cylindrical body with smooth walls. Decorated with an engraved coat of arms. Monogrammed "M I" on the underside. Assay marks, most likely by the master James Smith I (active since approximately 1727), with the date letter "T". Weighs approximately 65 grams. Height is 5 cm, diameter is 6.2 cm. See Jackson, page 181. A small George II sterling silver beaker, probably made by James Smith I (active since approximately 1727). It is monogrammed and engraved with a coat of arms. It bears assay and master's marks, with the date letter "T". Made in England, London, in 1734.
