Sterling silver. On a round, ascending foot, a widening, strongly compressed body with a high-set, short spout. The handle adorned with foliage and volutes, ending in a wolf's head. The hinged lid with minimal embossing, featuring a fully plastic Chinese figure with a hat as a finial. Rich relief decoration covering the surface with flowers, leaf tendrils, rocailles, and C-curves. Broad cartouche on the front with an indistinct coat of arms and motto. Signed, hallmarks, master Joseph Angell I (active since 1813), date letter "C". Weight approximately 650 g. Height 14.5 cm.
