Silver. Small, exhibited, oval stand surrounded by laurel leaf frieze, transitioning into a drawn, short shaft. Boat-shaped, curved body, smooth surface, the lower half of the wall adorned with relief lanceolate leaves. Wide, stepped offset, passively curved border forming a snout or flowing into a handle divided into two branches at the base, decorated with flower calyx and a single row of scale band. The short sides each decorated with a large, finely reliefed acanthus leaf. Below the snout, the small, intricately engraved family coat of arms of the Spanish-Belgian family del Marmol. Dated 950, unknown maker's mark. Weight approximately 710 g. Height 10 cm. 20 cm x 10.3 cm. A quality and elegant pair of probably Belgian Empire silver boats with coat of arms by the Spanish-Belgian family del Marmol. Standard mark 950, unknown maker's mark "D". Likely Belgium. 1st third 19th century.
