In shell form with matching spoons from the possession of Queen Marie of Hanover (1818-1907), consort of George IV (1819-1878). Silver, gilded. The deep, molded bowl is formed on three filigree feet shaped like volutes. On the side, two ear-shaped handles end in stylized leaf volutes. On the front side, the delicately engraved and gilt monogram of the last Queen of Hanover, Marie, born Princess of Saxe-Altenburg, is visible. The spoons are designed as small branches, with a leaf serving as the scoop. The underside corresponds to the monogram. Spoon designed, concession number "20", made by master Jean Louis Buchwaldt (master since 1855). Total weight approximately 420 g. Height 4.5 cm. 10 cm x 7.2 cm.
