Sterling silver, so-called Britannia silver. Round, small convex base, transitioning into wide, sweeping, bulging body. Base and lower half of body adorned with relief sculpted friezes. Show side engraved and richly decorated with alliance coat of arms. Below the broad rim, a corded band encircles a embossed, stylized flower border.
