Silver. Octagonal shape transitioning into straight, wide flag. Mirror surface adorned with fine hammered decorative pattern. In the center, a corresponding octagonal, engraved medallion with a central character, surrounded by cloud representations and two flying dragons, framed by a meander band. The flag is adorned all around and alternately decorated with relief sculptural battle scenes and medallions with characters. On the sides, two octagonal handles decorated with bamboo leaves and flowers. Signed, marked, most likely by Tu Mao Xing (active since around 1880). Weight approximately 3340 grams. 71 cm x 42 cm.
