As a gift donated by "Kaiser Wilhelm II to the Berlin-Potsdam Riding Club in 1902," this silver trophy takes the form of a trumpet. It features a profiled stand that transitions into a recessed, short shaft. The high, widening cup tapers towards the shoulder and is adorned with relief sculpted gadroons at the base. In the center, a laurel festoon is carried by relief sculpted ribbons, while a large lanceolate leaf frieze surrounds the edge or stand, all set against a punched background. The edge is embellished with a delicate pearl band. The front side is engraved with an inscription and date. On the sides, there are two high ascending, fluted handles. Dimensions: Height 41 cm, Weight 1770 g. Provenance: From an old German noble possession. A large German Empire-style silver trophy donated by Emperor Wilhelm II to the Berlin-Potsdam Riding Club.
