A pair of large girandoles.

As a gift from the Supervisory Board and Management Board of the Bank Association for Schleswig-Holstein, this silver girandole is presented. It consists of one or five branches, nearly round and flower-shaped, with a profiled stand and a weight. The tall baluster shaft has a set shoulder and widens significantly towards the top. Within it, there is a removable, intricately worked insert with four curved, narrow candle arms and a centrally ascending corresponding tulle. The straight eaves scales. The chandelier is surrounded by gracefully curved, vertically articulated tendrils. On the lowest eaves scale, there is an engraved dedication inscription and date. Measures approximately 49 cm in height and weighs a total of about 2845 grams. A pair of large 1 or 5-light German weighted silver girandoles with dedication inscription. Standard mark 800, maker's mark. Made in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. Manufactured by Gebrüder Kühn. 1st half of the 20th century.
