Yellow gold and silver, gilded. Curved, stepped ascending round base with applied, relief-plastic garland of filigree olive branches ending in a bow. Above it, four set sapphire cabochons. The narrow shaft at the base with a depressed node, surrounded by pearl friezes and delicate godrons, centrally worked with a fully plasticized node in the form of a lushly filled, naturalistically designed fruit basket, externally adorned with four small pearls. Above it, a tall, flower calyx-like cup, articulated by delicate knifed vertical pulls and relief structures, made of gold, worn by four substantial volutes arranged in a row, with raised arms ending. In the hands, hanging on delicate cords, four passively curved medallions, partially set with glass cabochons. Inside them, the inscriptions "CAREFUL AND LOVING", "WELL-MEANING AND WILLING TO SACRIFICE", "PIOUS AND MERCIFUL". One medallion replaced. Dated 585, 800, maker's mark. Weight approx. 480 g. Height 24.5 cm. This opulent and at the same time extremely delicately designed goblet by the well-known court jeweler active since 1840 captivates with its detailed and masterfully executed forge work as well as the combination of different materials and structures, and thus stands entirely in the tradition of Munich Historicism.
