Figures of the arts, curved rectangular pedestal on rocaille feet, above which baluster-like, ascending clock body in naturalistic rock formation, adorned with plastic roses and ivy vines, as well as foliage. As a crowning element, a putto holding palm leaves over a pedestal held by two amorini, with an earth globe sitting on it. Showcasing putti and allegorical figures in antique-style garments on different levels. Below, lying amorini near a young lady holding a compass with a hairdo adorned with pearls, accompanied by putti with brushes and color palettes or writing tablets as an allegory of the arts. In the center, two young ladies in antique-style garments with scroll and crescent moon diadem. Framed by a large cartouche, a porcelain dial with Roman numerals outlined in gold and black. Polychrome painting, mint green and delicate rose coloring with rich gold embellishments. Half-hour strike on bell. Platinum, marked "Gustav Becker Freiburg". Possibly by Johann Christian Hirt, 1886.
