On a pedestal. 2-piece; carried by four powerful rocaille feet, a curved, rectangular pedestal with a plastic flower decoration. Voluted, relief-decorated clock case in baluster form with architecturally appealing, profiled finish, surrounded by finely modeled, applied flower vines, relief-decorated rocailles, and shell and scale work. As a figurative crowning, a fully plastic group of three putti on rocky terrain with a large anchor, torch or book, and pen. An amphora lies between them, from which water flows. Corpus and pedestal with fine Watteau scenes and colorful flower bouquets and scattered flower decorations. Polychrome painting with rich gold staffage. Round, floral and shell-shaped relief-decorated dial made of brass with Roman enamel numerals. Half-hour strike on bell. Platinum, marked "Lenzkirch AGU" with serial number 387654. Designed by Ernst August Leuteritz, around 1880-1882. Unidentified restoration / damage; sword mark. Clock height 66 cm, overall height 77 cm.
