Hanns Schrott-Fiechtel studied from 1918-1921 at the renowned school of the Museum of Applied Arts in Berlin under Hans Perathoner. Since the 1930s, he became particularly known as a portrait sculptor. In 1940, he was also represented at the Great German Art Exhibition in Munich. After 1945, he created, among other works, a portrait of the Berlin mayor Ernst Reuter and the sculptural decoration for the Church of the Holy Twelve Apostles in Berlin.
