(1928 Fontenay-sous-Bois - 2008 Paris) Standing female nude bronze, dark patinated. Signed and numbered 5/8; stamp of the Cappelle foundry. On a rectangular plinth stands a nude figure of a young woman with her arms raised above her head. Formally reduced to the essential, this sculpture is in the tradition of the French classical modernism, particularly that of Aristide Maillol. Naudet studied sculpture with Marcel Gimond at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Since 1959, she taught as a professor and later became the president of the Société des Artistes Français in the sculpture section. H. 80 cm.
