Born in 1935 in Naples and currently living and working in Nice, the artist poses the question "Who am I?" in his artwork titled "Schwarz-weißes Acrylglasrelief als Multiple" (Black and white acrylic glass relief as a multiple) from 2019. The piece is hand-signed and numbered 14/25, with a total edition of 30 copies, including 5 artist proofs. This work is typical of the Fluxus artist, who is known for incorporating short handwritten texts, reminiscent of music or graffiti, into his art. In addition to his artistic endeavors from 1958 to 1973, the artist also ran a record store called "Magasin" in Nice. Inspired by Yves Klein, Marcel Duchamp, and the Nouveaux Réalistes, the artist participated in Documenta 5 in Kassel in 1972. In the early 1980s, he became a mentor for the art movement "Figuration Libre." The artwork measures 60 cm x 60 cm x 1.5 cm and is a black and white acrylic glass relief.
