For the individually crafted artful box illustrated by Édouard Goerg for the book "Vathek" by William Beckford, a custom-made Schuber was created. The Schuber is made of colored and black leather, adorned with relief-like embellishments featuring two female figures, and lined with gold metallic-colored leather. On the front right breast, there is an insertable red pen for attachment. The dimensions of the Schuber are 28.5 cm x 21 cm x 8.3 cm. Housed within the Schuber is William Beckford's "Vathek," illustrated by Édouard Goerg, published in Paris in 1962, one of 500 copies (total edition of 850). The loose sheets are in the original cover and in the cardboard lid and cardboard Schuber. The dimensions are 27 cm x 17.5 cm x 7 cm. Exlibris by John Hunov on the inside cover.
