Art Deco floor vase with decoration "Four Seasons"

Faience. Tall, slender, curved baluster form. Polychrome painted reliefs depicting allegorical representations with female figures. Possibly by Hans Adametz, circa 1925-1928; model number 29454. Company stamp mark (triangle mark) with inscription "AUSTRIA". Height: 53.5 cm. The Austrian sculptor and ceramist Hans Adametz (1896-1966) studied at the School of Applied Arts in Vienna under Michael Powolny, which led him to the circle of the Wiener Werkstätte. In Vienna, he worked for the "Keramos - Wiener Kunstkeramik und Porzellanmanufaktur", founded in 1920, in which Josef Hoffmann was also involved. In 1924, he participated in the Werkbund exhibition "Die Form", and in 1925, he received a gold medal at the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris. An Austrian Vienna Keramos painted faience floor vase with reliefs of the four seasons, modeled by Hans Adametz. Model number 29454. Factory mark: Österreich. Wien. Keramos. Circa 1928-1930.
