Ovoid, organic form crafted from asymmetrical cuts in chalcedony glass. Black, worn glass base, cylindrical or oval and concentrically offset. Signed, as well as applied mark and studio label. Height, 63.5 cm. Dino Rosin (born 1948), known for his unique glass sculptures, learned at Barovier & Toso in Murano until 1963 when he became an employee in the workshop "Artvet" of his brothers Loredano and Mirco. In 1975, he switched as an assistant to Loredano Rosin in his newly founded studio, where Dino collaborated with his brother for more than 25 years and developed into an internationally exhibiting, significant glass artist. After the tragic death of Loredano in 1991, Dino opened his own workshop in 1992. An important Murano chalcedony glass sculpture on black glass base by Dino Rosin. Signed twice, studio label. Italy.
